Emil Schumacher

The painter Emil Schumacher is regarded as one of the important representatives of abstract painting in Germany. Located between the "Informal" and "Abstract Expressionism", his paintings are characterized by their expressiveness and colors. He participated in all major exhibitions such as documenta 6 or the 29th Venice Biennale. He died in the 1999.
