Karin Kneffel

The artist Karin Kneffel is one of the important painters in Germany. Her photo-realistic-looking images combine realism and surrealism. In her paintings she shows everydayness, obtained through reflection and overlapping a second level. Like fleeting moments to remind their dreamlike scenes. For her exhibition at the Museum Haus Esters, the artist will specifically develop a series of paintings, which were allowed to irritating ways with the existing facilities of the Villa Ester. We accompany them in the studio painting and during construction.
