Günther Uecker

Günther Uecker is a painter and object artist of international stature. Uecker became known through his sculptural nail images and its kinetic properties which he has particularly developed during his time in the ZERO group. In addition to numerous awards he received the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class and the Kaiserring of Gosslar city. Our archive includes footage and interviews from the 1970s until today.

The last filming happend while he was installing his "Sandmill" at the Kunstsammlung NRW in Düsseldorf.
