Thomas Grünfeld

Thomas Grünfeld counts as one of the most important sculptors in Germany and teaches at the Art Academie in Duesseldorf since 2004.

We met him at the exhibition INTERCOM at the Philara Collection, where he presentes his new series "fireplaces" (2016) next to the Dye-Transfer Series "Heimspiel" (1999). Next to a photo and film documentation we were able to record an interview with the artist.
