Pierre Klossowski

Pierre Klossowski, born in Paris in 1905works aside from his painting even as a writer and translator. Literary he was known for his essays on the Marquis de Sade and Friedrich Nietzsche.
In his paintings and sculptures he often processed erotic fantasies that might have come from his spiritual role models.
In 2006 the Museum Ludwig shows a retrospective of paintings and drawings.
